MITCS provides students in grades 9 through 12 with the chance to tackle real-life projects and pursue areas of personal interest to prepare them for a world of opportunity. STEP 1
Learn more about charter schools

Charter schools are publicly funded, privately managed schools that obtain a “charter” from local school boards in order to open their doors to Pennsylvania students. They are schools of choice: choice to parents, students, teachers, and administrators. Parents and students get to choose to enroll in a school that may offer a unique learning environment or offer alternative learning methodologies.

STEP 2
Learn more about MITCS

You can learn more about the Midland Innovation + Technology Charter School (MITCS) from the comfort of your own home. MITCS is conducts virtual, one-to-one information sessions for interested parents and students entering grades 9 through 12 in academic year 2023-24.

Terrence Smith, CEO of MITCS, and Dana Corradi, Director of Enrollment, Diversity, and Inclusion, serve as the presenters. They will explain how MITCS operates and answer any questions you may have. Information sessions are available Monday through Friday.

STEP 3 

Take a tour of our facility

Midland Innovation + Technology Charter School is housed in the Charles J. Betters Innovation Center; an ultramodern $8 million facility. The new school features 32,000 square feet of state-of-the-art instructional studios, flexible lab environments for collaborative learning and research, student support spaces, administrative offices, and food service and dining amenities. Tours are available Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Submit a Pre-Enrollment Form

STEP 5 
Apply for admission

Ready to apply? If you prefer, you can go directly to the online MITCS Enrollment Application. You’ll need to complete these official enrollment documents with your parent/guardian in order to be fully enrolled at the school.
