HOMEBASE

The purpose of this Homebase is to provide students with an opportunity to experience success in school and improve attitudes and behaviors towards learning, self, school, and community. In this course, students will complete a career aptitude and discovery assessment that uses performance measures to empower students with the knowledge of their unique capabilities to better inform their career interests. Students and faculty will use this information to work in concert to guide the students to success in school, careers, and life. The focus of the course is to prepare students for the workplace and life. The subjects covered include some of the top 20 most important or vital skills/qualities that employers and hiring managers look for in employees.
