David Krakoff named Principal/Head of School

Midland Innovation + Technology Charter School (MITCS), located in Midland, Pennsylvania, would like to welcome Mr. David Krakoff as their new Principal/Head of School. With over twenty years of experience and expertise in both the private and public education sectors, Mr. Krakoff comes to MITCS from Erie Rise Leadership Academy in Erie, PA. Serving as their Director of Education, he supervised the administration of a K-8 public charter school and guided the school’s team responsible for increasing proficiency and attendance rates. Previously, Mr. Krakoff served as the principal of Smith-Wade-El Elementary School located in Lancaster, PA. His impressive administrative credentials also include leadership roles with The Villages Charter School, and local school districts Pine-Richland School District and Woodland Hills School District. He has contributed to the success of several Florida schools in the roles of Principal, Vice Principal, and Central Office Administrator. Mr. Krakoff is a graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania where he earned his principal certification, Master of Arts in English and completed the National Institute for School Leadership, (NISL).
